Sass and Bide

I've been obsessed with the Sass and Bide 'Coming Back' shorts for a couple of weeks now, and when my sister showed me a gorgeous blogger called Tuula in them, that was it! I had to go pick a pair up for myself! They are so pretty!
These handmade shorts have a gorgeous embroidered Aztec pattern on them, with gold sequins, beading and amazing coloured threads. The detail on them is phenomenal.



I paired them with a mango coloured sweater from Sportsgirl, and the 'Bolly' Nude sandals from Siren. I think this outfit will be perfect for me to wear to Big Day Out at the end of this month! Speaking of end of this month, I leave for Thailand soon! I'm super excited about it!

Acne VS. Topshop!

I have been wanting a pair of the Acne Pistol Boots since I saw them released online, and when I went into the GPO store and saw them in person I fell even more in love with them! But no matter how much I loved them, I couldn't justify spending $570 on a pair of boots when it's not even winter where I live! I thought I would wait till next season, and track them down online. Then, I discovered that TOPSHOP, has a nearly identical pair called the 'Ambush' boot! I am over the moon and haven't taken them off my feet since they arrived promptly in the mail four days after ordering them (Thanks for the amazing post to Australia Topshop!).


I also was lucky enough to pick up a pair of the Steve Madden Sarrina's in Black, in the massive sale they are currently having! They are so similar to the Acne Vega Black Suede Pumps I love! I have been shoe lucky this week!

I should stop spending so much money on shoes, and start saving my money! I'm heading to Thailand at the end of this month! Should I do a 'What I am taking', 'In my luggage' or 'What's in my carry on' post? I usually like everybody's 'What's in my bag post's so that could be a fun idea!

Glasshouse Triple Scented Candles

I did some last minute christmas shopping today before heading to work, and decided to grab a couple of my favourite candles to give as gifts. The Glasshouse Fragrances Triple Scented Candles are delightful. They come in gorgeous pastel coloured packaging, and the candles themselves are in gorgeous glass jars that can be reused once your candle runs out! Which I doubt it will any time soon with 80+ hours burning time these babies have!
For at least the past two years my favourite scent has been the Tahaa, which smells to me like Creme Brulee!
Glasshouse describe this candle as Vanilla complemented with fresh Coconut and Frankincense, but I'm unable to pick up the Coconut.

As of today, I think my beloved Tahaa has found a new rival! The fresh and zesty Bora Bora! I bought this one for myself even thought I was meant to be gift shopping. This yummy scent smells like Cilantro (Coriander) and sparkling Orange Blossom, and even my boyfriend approves of this one! 

I also purchased the Miami, (which is a tangy blend of Grapefruit, Mandarin, Amber and Bergamot) for my boyfriends mum, and the Oahu, (a calming mix of milk scented Orange Blossom, White Heliotrope and Narcissus flowers) for my boyfriends Grandparents. It was so hard to decide which ones to get! 

Not only do these gorgeous candles look and smell amazing, they are also handmade in Australia, using pure wax and cotton wicks, which are non toxic and lead free!

American Apparel Disco Pants!

Today I picked up a pair of the black American Apparel Disco Pants. They take the best part of a pair of jeans, and leggings and mix them together to create a delicious mix of Nylon and Elastane. They perfectly fit and flatter the body by being tight in all the right places! For $122AUD they aren't the cheapest pair of pants you'll ever buy, but they are most definitely worth it for how good my legs look in them!
They certainly live up to their rave reviews.
